Wien, in the heart of Central Europe, is an old city whose historical rôle as the capital of a great empire and the residence of the Habsburgs is reflected in its architectural monuments, its famous art collections and its cultural life, in which music has always played an important part.

TRANSPORTATION
Schwechat, the international airport of Wien, is about 19 kilometers from the center of the city. Transportation from the airport costs by taxi about Euro 30, by bus to the air terminal about Euro 5, and by the train (Schnellbahn) about Euro 3. Wien is also connected by direct trains with many European cities.

Temperatures during the day usually range between 0-10 degrees centigrade. Be prepared for some rain showers, maybe even some snow ...

LOCATION
The 2nd Annual MolCoNet Meeting will be held November 27-29, 2003, at the Technische Universität Wien. All lectures will be given at the Zemanek-Saal in the Favoritenstraße 11, which is not far from the center of Wien.
